I really do not understand what is going on. I downloaded the M install from my office account and proceed to install it. After installation, when I run an office product, my product is activated with a Microsoft Office Professional Plus license. It does not state Microsoft Office as referenced in this article.

I restart, and nothing The screen shot in your very first message in this thread suggests that Office Professional Plus has been installed. That license does not include automatic saves. I know from experience that the installer seems to favor certain types of installations over others, when there is a conflict. I would suggest that you try removing Office using the Uninstall support tool see Option 2 in the support article Uninstall Office from a PC.
