I didn’t have enough time today to try everything since I am the only IT guy at this location, everyone else is remote. To add the computer to the domain, you’ll need a domain admin account. Do you have access to Active Directory? Is that in your job description?

Has someone delegated you the right to be able to join a computer to the domain? Who manages your Active Directory? You have to have the proper permissions to join a computer to the domain. The Account is locked notification is a generic message which makes it not a very good message for troubleshooting.

It could mean the Computer Account is Locked out. Rejoin the computer but with a different name – I use the model number at the end so a script can put it in the correct container automatically.
